Its interesting history is particularly noteworthy. Initially, the 500E was registered to Mercedes-Benz AG before it passed into the ownership of the then-CEO of Kärcher. In total, the vehicle has had only three owners.

The vehicles were then returned to Sindelfingen for painting and final inspection before being fully assembled once again at Porsche. This extraordinary manufacturing process made the 500E one of the most exclusive and elaborately crafted production vehicles of its time.
